چکیده
Abstract This article proposes a micro-founded model of countries’ diversification trajectories in the product space. We argue that type technological regime under which countries operate conditions their export performance and trajectories. In particular, repeated simulations show with firms operating an entrepreneurial expand basket faster when most other are characterized by routinized regime. Simulations also catching-up space less likely all same

The Technological and Learning Regimes
The demise of the Old Telecoms Industry began in the mid-1980s when, due to different combinations of political-economic circumstances, the monopoly of telecoms was ended in the US, UK and Japan. By the late1990s, with the agreement of the European Union to fully liberalise its telecoms markets and the similar agreement of the WTO, there was a widespread consensus that the liberalisation of tel...
متن کاملSomewhat-connectedness and somewhat-continuity in the product space
In this paper, the concept of somewhat-connected space will be introduced and characterized. Its connection with the other well-known concepts such as the classical connectedness, the $omega_theta$-connectedness, and the $omega$-connectedness will be determined. Moreover, the concept of textit{somewhat}-continuous function from an arbitrary topological space into the product space will be chara...
متن کاملThe Role of Technological Trajectories in Catching-up Based Development an Application to Energy Efficiency Technologies
We argue that the analysis level of a technological trajectory is very suitable to analyse the decisions of firms in latecomer countries with regard to the technological area that they should focus on. Technological trajectories are the main focal points along which technological innovation develops, and they are more detailed than the common sectors, like electronics of pharmaceuticals, that a...
